It was the worst day I ever had
That terrible hangover occupied my head
My boss yelled at me: "Man, you're fired!"
He thought he shot my heart
But in my eyes I have no single tear
I'm gonna get another can of beer (C'mon)
My baby called me, I picked up my phone
She said: "I leave you now". Well I became alone
I saw her back, she was walking away
What did she think I was supposed to say?
My words were nothing, but: "Hey dear
I'm gonna get another can of beer" (C'mon)
My lessor said: "Get out!". I've got no home
I had to take my guitar and began to roam
Since that time I've been here
I've been there, I've been everywhere
Now I'm standing on this stage and only reason why I'm here
C'mon somebody, please, just offer me another beer
