Нас обіймали зелені поля,
дихала сонцем нагріта земля.
Ріки в долинах і хмари вгорі
друзями стали в далекі ті дні
вічним коханцям в зелених полях.
Нині поля ці – від сонця сухі,
зникли долини, де бігли річки.
Вітер зими моє серце зборов
в час, коли ми відпустили любов.
Де ті блукання в зелених полях?
Чому втекла ти – ніколи не збагну,
Довкола хмари – тож як тебе знайду?
Для мене пустка – усі навкруг світи,
Стою я в самоті, без віри і мети.
Все ж я діждуся, коли ти прийдеш.
День цей настане – і, люба, ти збагнеш:
щастя – коли у блуканні своїм
серце вернеться в загублений дім.
Дім, як колись, наш – в зелених полях.
